Several meetings related to the flathead irrigation project are scheduled for this week.  Details are noted below.

We know this is a very busy time for you and attendance at these meetings is difficult for everyone.  Keep in mind that at the water policy interim committee hearing in helena on june 18th, chris tweeten told the committee “ there are hot and heavy significant indicators of strong irrigator support for the compact that were not heard during the legislature.

We all know this statement is not close to the reality on the ground, but is the game proponents of the water use agreement choose to play to give the “appearance of support” for the compact.  Please tell your friends and neighbors about these meetings, and do your best to fit them into your very busy schedules.

It’s  important.  Your attendance and support are very much valued at these meetings.
