The Water Court Mediator issued a statement today concerning general mediation meetings that will be held during the week of April 24, 2023.

GENERAL MEDIATION ZOOM MEETING INFORMATION

Information sessions concerning mediation in Case WC-0001-C-2021 will be held via zoom during the week of April 24, 2023. The zoom meetings will provide information on the mediation process, set ground-rules for participating in mediation, and discuss dates for additional mediation meetings.

During the week of April 24, 2023, there will be several opportunities for objectors to attend a mediation information session. Each session will cover the same general content. An objector only needs to attend one of the sessions and may choose to attend on the day that is most convenient for them.

There will be additional required mediation meetings during the course of the settlement track. The purpose of these initial mediation sessions is to provide general information about mediation and answer questions about the process. Future meetings will be more specific and will provide opportunities to discuss particular objections and
options for resolution.

Please note that only those parties who filed a timely objection in Case WC-0001- C-2021 will be permitted to participate in the mediation process. Each objector must attend ONE of the following mediation information sessions:

  • Monday, April 24, 2023, at 10:00 am MST

  • Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 6:00 pm MST
    Or
  • Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 12:00 pm MST

  • Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm MST
